Mahesh Babu's bumper offer to Mani Ratnam

Ever since Telugu media reported news on Mahesh Babu accepted second fiddle role in Mani Ratnam's movie, Prince Fans are going furious. As Vijay is the main hero and Anushka is heroine, importance for Mahesh Babu in the film will be seemingly lost. If Mani Ratnam is insisting Mahesh Babu only to sell the Telugu version fancily, there is no necessity for charming hero to accept the offer. As per the Film Nagar grapevine, after a long analysis of situation Mahesh Babu is known to have striked the deal to accept 'Ponniyin Selvan', if film is to be made into two parts. If first part will focus on heroism of Vijay, second distinctly needs to concentrate on Mahesh Babu's heroics as a warrior. Ram Gopal Varma followed the same technique for Rakta Charitra series.
