Preparations are in full swing for NTR Jr`s wedding on May 6 in Hyderabad. The wedding next month is said to be a grand affair with the who`s who of Hyderabad expected to make an appearance at the event.

A family member recently disclosed that the bride`s family was very particular about purchasing the traditional pattu sarees only from Kanchipuram. One hears that Lakshmi Pranathi, along with her mother and aunt, visited the silk city (via Chennai) recently to shop for her wedding trousseau.

Our Sources reveal that they ordered for some custom made sarees and purchased three sarees worth 1.10 crore. These special sarees are said to be woven with pure gold and silver zari and feature an elephant motif that has been expertly crafted near the border. They bought a saree worth 50 lakh for the wedding day and two more in the range of 20 lakh for the pre-wedding ceremonies.

Though our young tiger managed her carefully, the entire episode has disturbed him. As per reports, Junior is angry with Ileana for throwing water on his budding love-life and looking for right time to take vengeance.

Ileana Likely To Be Banned!!

The day 'Shakti' released, NTV came up with a program and the essence of it was the film failed to reach the expectations of the audience. This enraged Aswini Dutt who proposed that the channel must be banned. Meaning, they must not be invited to any film press meets, not giving any interviews, trailers.

Whether that is possible or not, it is heard that Aswinit Dutt is adamant on banning Ileana, the leading lady of the film ‘Shakti’.

Recently, in an interview given to an English newspaper, Ileana reportedly said she was disappointed with ‘Shakti’ and criticised that she was narrated one story and the story turned out to be something else on the screen.

She went few steps ahead and said that she can’t ask her fans to watch the film that she doesn’t like and added that’s why she didn’t take part in the promotion activity.

On the same day, Aswini Dutt came up with grand advertisements thanking the Telugu audience for their support, showing collections that ‘Shakti’ will create new records.

But through her statements, Ileana literally conveyed that all those statements were lies and declared the film to be a super flop. After hearing this from the film‘s heroine, who will dare to watch the film?

Taking one crore rupees as remuneration, apart from dancing four steps in audio release function, Ileana did not even participate in the promo activities and instead she did negative publicity. This is reportedly giving Aswini Dutt the ground to ban Ileana and it is heard that even the other big producers are supporting this move.

In the name of that 'image', these extra terrestrial elements are spoiling the originality and genuineness of the content. 'Khaleja' and 'Puli' are the best examples in the recent past, while 'Teen Maar' is the best one today. While the hindi original 'Love Aaj Kal' portrays the expressions and emotions of love at peak levels, its Telugu remake was altered with senseless fights. For targeting whole sections of B & C centres, the films should be completely commercial with all heroic elements. If they go on changing genuine subjects into melodramatic content for the sake of fans, audience will keep on rejecting them. Star heroes should change their mindset to make good films unveiling their image-mask, such that the facet of Telugu Industry will change to reach new levels.

Ace director Puri Jagannadh is one of the finest directors of Telugu cinema to have his own style of treating the stories. Right from his 'Idiot' to the latest 'Golimaar', all of his movies have a different flavor to entertain both class and mass. However, the same kind of magic is missing in the hands of Meher Ramesh who assisted Puri in superhit films like 'Pokiri' and 'Desamuduru'. In all the three films he made, Meher looks like blowing same pipe with different tunes. The entire three commercial flicks he made, 'Kantri', 'Billa' and 'Shakti' are caught in the web of 'flops'. They left smiles on producer's face however, without making any loss although no profit. Despite of all his sick flicks, Meher's extra ordinary talent is to pull out producers to invest on him. Buzz is that Geetha Arts signed a film with Meher to direct Allu Arjun in an upcoming venture.

Jr NTR's Hand In Vamsi's Change Of Mind

Just few days back, the TDP camp in Vijayawada was sitting on a hot oven with the internal fight between Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Devineni Uma reaching the peak. With Vamsi submitting his resignation and getting support from MLA Kodali Nani, many predicted that TDP is reaching its end quite quickly.

However, everything went kaput within 2-3 days and Vamsi took back his words and his resignation letter. While many were wondering why Vallabhaneni Vamsi suddenly became calm after so much noise, here is one tidbit. Some of them even felt that he is a chicken heart and doesn’t have guts. A source close to the Nandamuri camp revealed “Junior spoke to Vamsi and reminded him how the family is already going through some internal issues, now they didn’t want any external problems as this would bring a very negative image for the party among the people. Ileana Insults NTR And Rana!!!

Having worked with NTR in ‘Rakhi’ and ‘Shakti’ and pairing up with Rana for the first time in ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’, the latest discussion making rounds is that Ileana has insulted both of them terribly. That too, while taking part in the promotion event of ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’.

Apparently, Ileana was asked who her favorite hero is and she replied ‘Ravi Teja’. Not stopping at that, she added “He is my all time favorite hero”. By saying this, she has insulted all the heroes that she worked with. Ileana has paired up with Ravi Teja in the super flop film ‘Khatarnak’ followed by the super hit ‘Kick’. The only two heroes to repeat Ileana are Ravi Teja and NTR.

In that situation, by declaring Ravi Teja as her all-time favorite hero, Ileana has hurt the egos of all the other heroes. However, since she has lifted the spirits of Ravi Teja in the sky with this statement, the chances of her getting a third project with Ravi Teja looks sure.

Experts disagree with Jr NTR's version

Tollywood top stars are endorsing gold and other jewelry these days, leaving many wondering what happened to the Actresses and female models? "Yes, jewelry is a woman's thing, but men will agree with me that we are the ones who have to buy it for them," Jr NTR quoted, on his decision to endorse Malabar Gold. However, the reality is something different from what NTR has quoted. Ad whiz and theatre personality Mohammad Ali Baig disagrees with Young Tiger's version. "The men may foot the bill, but the decision to buy jewelry lies in the hands of women. Men are definitely not the target consumers," says Baig. "When you don't have ideas, use a star - this is what we normally say in the ad world. Stars are generally used to endorsing anything. But the use of the star needs to be relevant to the product. As far as jewelry is concerned, I believe women wear it to show one another rather than flaunt them for the men. Most brands use a star to ensure visibility," says Santha John, MD of a creative agency.

Businessman's Daughter Curses 'Shakti' Director

Ever since the film ‘Shakti’ was in the making, many were apprehensive about the directorial abilities of Meher Ramesh. Much to their fears, the film turned out to be a colossal disaster and since then, he is being bombarded right from the Nandamuri fans to the regular audience.

Now, it is heard that a businessman’s daughter has also aimed her guns on Meher and she is no ordinary girl. We are talking about Lakshmi Pranathi, Studio N owner Narne Srinivas’s daughter and fiancée of Junior NTR. Apparently, sources say Lakshmi was miffed with the director after watching ‘Shakti’ with great anticipation.

Incidentally, if the film was getting a super hit before their marriage then it would have been a cheerful moment but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Sources close to Narne family reveal Lakshmi felt that Meher Ramesh is the cause for the flop and was disappointed with him.

Movie is released on April 1st and miserable run is still continuing with decreasing crowds at all theatres. The total collapse of 'Shakti' made Ileana to open her mouth. Confusing story with no head and no tail is to be blamed on Meher Ramesh. According to Ileana, when she is not satisfied with the final outcome of film, how could she promote it asking the audience to go and watch the film? That is why, slender beauty stayed away from publicity sprint of 'Shakti'. "I wasn't positive about 'Shakti', so I didn’t speak much about it in any event. I'm not a hypocrite to smile and tell people to watch the movie, when I myself not convinced," says Ileana. Meher Ramesh's first characterization narration to Ileana is completely different from what he portrayed in the film. Addition of too many other things spoiled it and Ileana is unhappy with this. "Before signing on the dotted lines, story of Shakti was different. During the shooting everything changed. Differences between narrated ones and final shaped up ones are clearly seen on the screen," said Ileana giving the death blow to 'Shakti'.
