Bellamkonda Ban Gaya Bakra!!

Whenever there is a hit in other language, filling the suitcase with notes and rushing to that place has become the habit of the big producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Knowing this, one Tamil producer pulled a trick on Bellamkonda. He ensured that the Tamil media promotes his film as a super hit and got Bellamkonda to buy the remake rights.
He must have spent around 5-6 lakhs for managing the media and another 5-6 lakhs for managing the middlemen. But all expenses gone, he made a profit of 60-70 lakhs. After hearing the news that the Vijay- Asin starrer ‘Kavalan’ became a hit, Bellamkonda rushed to Chennai with a suitcase of notes.
Feeling panic that anyone will come for competition, he gave a fancy offer, bought the remake rights and must be feeling that he achieved something big. To cut it short, it was revealed later that the film became a super flop. Luckily, Venkatesh signed up for the film otherwise Bellamkonda would have suffered heavy losses.
Bellamkonda’s ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ with Balakrishna, ‘Autograph’ with Ravi Teja, ‘Sambho Siva Sambho’ and the recent ‘Nagavalli’, all are remakes. But till date, none of them scored a hit. But this has not reduced Bellamkonda’s craze for remakes. Hits in other languages are becoming flops in Telugu so one can imagine the fate of flop films in other languages. Let us hope that atleast after this incident Bellamkonda will be careful.
