Usually, publicity takes all forms to ensure a smooth run of the film before recovering money for producers. Even if the film is slated as a dud at the Box Office, 'Publicity' monster never stops its work, making people laugh further. More interest is generated if utter flop heroes talk about another utter flop flick. Jagapathi Babu's recent release 'Chattam' is pulled out of many theatres for the negative talk it got on day one itself. With a predictable storyline and less technical standards, director Arun Prasad (Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu' fame) failed to deliver a gripping tight content that can woo the viewers. On the other hand, dud heroes like Rajasekhar and Tarun are speaking a lot in the media about this flick. Rajasekhar went on comparing the flick with his 'Ankusam', while Tarun stated that the concept is thrilling. Industry people are poking fun at these flop stars for the 'dappu' they are beating in people's ears. Other than this 'dappu', there is nothing in the film that can hold the audience, where Jagapathi babu kills dreaded terrorist Kasab. Source: Gulte |
