Puri Jagannadh Is Missing

The last few weeks has seen that director Puri Jagannadh has been missing from the Tollywood soil. While that is one side, it is heard that even Puri is also missing something. Well, it is heard that he has been missing his family due to the shooting of his Bollywood debut project ‘Bbuddah’ which is happening in Mumbai.

That was seen during the audio release function of the film ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’. Those who were present revealed how Puri spent a pleasant time with his entire family (wife, son and daughter) and relishing those moments. Those who don’t know gave rubbish gossips about the director sometime ago but after looking at Puri and his family in audio function, all those gossips became trash news.

Given his levels of involvement, Puri is known to immerse himself into any project he is working. As a result, he is right now in the ‘Bbuddah’ mode but at the same time, those who are with Puri reveal how he is missing his family and spending time with them.

Director satisfies Ileana in new angle

Blooming Ileana is very much regarded as a glamour doll in film industry. She got few opportunities to prove the acting talent unlike other heroines. Most often Ileana knuckled down on sexy assets and high oomph getting the nickname of Hip beauty. Producers and directors enjoyed her etching the characters only on this hot angle.
Director Puri Jagannath gave a rare difference by making her portray wonderful character in ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’.  It is reliably learnt that Ileana will be essaying a dual role in the film and is confident about her acting prowess. The two characters in the film are as different as chalk and cheese. “I have done a performance oriented role after long gap. Although story can’t be divulged, it is based on offering a strong statement to society. Instead of succumbing to problems that we face, one should try to overcome them. Suicide is not the end solution to a problem,” says Ileana. Puri appears to have well satisfied Ileana in this new angle

Jagan's Leave Letter To Amitabh

Reading the headline might make you assume we are talking about Y S Jagan and you might be wondering the link between him and Amitabh. Well, the man in discussion is director Puri Jagannadh who is better known as Jagan in the cine circles. And here is the story behind his leave letter to the big star.

Apparently, Puri Jagannadh was present during the audio release function of his new movie ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ in Hyderabad. The place to be was the Novotel hotel and it was graced by the likes of Venkatesh, Ravi Teja, Richa Gangopadhyay and others. Now, Puri has been quite busy with the shooting of his Bollywood debut venture ‘Bbuddah’.

This has Big B in the lead and it is heard that Puri Jagan was completely immersed with the making and totally involved. But with the audio release event, Puri had to put a brake to the full flow and take permission from Amitabh. Those who are moving with Puri revealed on a lighter vein that he gave a leave letter to Amitabh and came here.

Puri Going Deep With Kangna??

It is heard that after introducing Kangna Ranaut in ‘Ek Niranjan’, the bonding between her and director Puri Jagannadh has been going strong with each passing day. Puri is in Mumbai shooting for his debut film ‘Bbuddah’ with Amitabh Bachchan. Bollywood sources say Kangna has been taking Puri around to premier shows, parties and is becoming close to him.
It is with the same ‘closeness’ sources say Puri took every step to ensure Kangna gets a role in his mentor Ramgopal Varma’s ‘Department’. RGV who lost his leftover credibility with films like ‘Rakta Charitra 2, KSD Appalaraju, Dongala Mutha’ has gone back to Mumbai and is doing ‘Department’ with Amitabh, Abhishek, Sanjay Dutt.  News is that Puri convinced Ramu to take his love interest Kangna as Abhishek’s love interest in the film.
Lately, Varma has been depending a lot on his disciple Puri in terms of script preparation that’s why he could not say no to Puri’s recommendation of Kangna. Frankly, Kangna’s career was in doldrums before ‘Ek Niranjan’. It is only after that she got movies like ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.
Now, by bagging the offer of ‘Department’ through recommendation, Kangna is preparing the stage for getting into the top league of heroines by pairing up with Abhishek Bachchan.

Rana's finger - Puri's hand!!!

Rana's finger - Puri's hand!!!
Smart and successful heroes always does smart things to promote their just releasing projects, unlike our young kid. Rana, who is just one film year old in Telugu tinsel town, seems to be pressing the wrong buttons.

'Nenu Naa Rakshasi', the upcoming flick of Daggubati hero Rana under the direction of sensational commercial director Puri Jagannadh is gearing for a grand release on this summer. However, the promotional activities for the flick are comparatively low with other contenders, though the film was completed a month ago. It is heard that unnecessary fingering of Rana in the project from start to finish led to the anger of Puri, for which he left the promotion of the movie. Generally, Puri is an expert in promoting his flicks with exceptional marketing strategies for the hair-raising content he creates. Trade experts are saying that Puri's hand to project's promotion will affect film's business.

Charmy's Big Break In Bollywood

Telugu actor Charmi Kaur will descend on Bollywood in none other than Amitabh Bachchan's company.
Not only is the veteran star playing lead in “Buddah: Hoga Tera Baap” (there's another story behind this name!), but his home banner AB Corp is also producing the film.
It is set to bring back AB in his most loved avatar, albeit with a tweak — as an angry ‘old' man.
As for Charmi, Amitabh says he's never met her, but trusts the judgment of his director Puri Jagannath.

Kangana Entertaining Puri In Mumbai!

Sexy heroine Kangana Raut might have hit the success with “Once Upon A Time” and “Tanu Weds Manu” now, but when she was still struggling to make a mark in Bollywood, when her first film “Ek Niranjan” was a hit in Tollywood.
When Kangana did the film, nobody knew who she was. It was a big surprise to everybody, when ace director Puri Jagannath not only made her his heroine in the film Ek Niranjan, but also got her remuneration of a whopping Rs 1 crore. It was a talking point in the Telugu film industry at that time as to how she managed to trap Puri and got her bank balance to go up steeply.
There were whispers here and there that Kangana had done “everything” for Puri to express her gratitude towards him.
According to latest gossip doing rounds in the film industry, Kangana has been extending all cooperation to Puri, who is presently camping in Mumbai to do the film “Budddha” with Amitabh Bachchan. She is entertaining him day and night and providing all the support he requires in Bollywood. Not only that, Kangana is introducing Puri to everybody as the most successful director who had erased all the records with his film “Pokiri.” And since the film was remade in Hindi as “Wanted,” Puri is getting all respect in Bollywood. She took Puri to the premiere of film “Tanu Weds Manu,” and posed for photographs for the media, introducing him as her boyfriend.
Now, it is the turn of Puri to repay his gratitude towards Kangana. He is believed to have recommended his friend Nallamalupu Bujji to buy the Telugu remaking rights of Tanu Weds Manu. And he also reportedly offered a full-length role for Kangana in his “Buddha” film!

Puri's 'Super Quotation' In Bujji's Office

Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Kurma’ may not be that tasty right now at the box office but he sure is one man who has loads of talent. True to his aptitude, he involves in various intellectual discussions and rolls out some lines which get embossed. Well, here is something for your reference.

It is heard that Parasuram, director of the film ‘Yuvatha’ has got a frame in his office (for the record, even his nickname is Bujji). This is said to be a statement from Puri Jagannadh written with his own hands. This has got framed and the lines go – “padimandini mosam chesi baagupadochchu..kaani ninnu nuvvu mosam chesukunte chanka naaki pothaav”.

The essence goes that you can grow by cheating ten people but if you cheat your own self then your life will suck. So, just like in cinema even outside Puri has his style of punch dialogues. As such, Puri is the guru for Parasuram so it comes as a no surprise how his words are inspiring his protégés.

Puri Jagannadh On Suicide

Puri Jagannadh may well be a mass masala director but there are times when he addresses few issues with sense and sensibility. We have seen traces of that in ‘Neninthe’ and here is another update from the Puri camp. It is heard that the crazy director is working on a new subject which revolves around suicide.

Yes, buzz is that Puri is planning to make a film on this subject. However, this will not be an offbeat art house movie but a regular commercial entertainer with a strong message, as per sources. It is heard that Puri is keen on giving it a very intense shape so that no one will get instigated or even think to commit suicide after watching this film.

Those who are moving with Puri reveal that the subject is coming out real strong and he is all fired up on this issue. While it feels nice to expect another ‘Pokiri’ type blockbuster from Puri, the genre of his new project is noble enough to get him appreciations. Let us see how riveting he gets. Before announcing that his ‘Nenu Na Rakshasi’ is ready for release.
