Before the project took off and during shooting, petite beauty Trisha was smitten by Powerstar's charms and acting prowess. The sexy Tamil siren used to talk loud about the same. Apparently, all those acts are vanished all of a sudden! The reason behind this sudden change of Trisha's mind is said to be Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. If you keep the fate of 'Teen Maar' aside, Powerstar's rocking performance dominated all the times than Trisha's hard hitting skin show. More than those lip kisses and Trisha's thigh shows in micro mini dresses, Pawan's charm and action jelled well with audience of all ages. Disappointed for not getting good lime light, Trisha is not attending any promotional activities of 'Teen Maar'. In other words, Power waves are simply distancing Trisha from the project.

I'm not seeing him: Kriti Kharbanda

Sizzling Beauty Kriti Kharbanda is riding high after the release of Teen Maar. The film which opened in 1,150 theatres worldwide has has collected huge openings. However, the actress says that she never expected to have such a huge openings. "I never expected Teen Maar to have such a huge openings. Pawan Kalyan is a huge star in Tollywood, but for me, it's just my second film. It actually scared me that I was doing such a big film. I'm relieved that it's being liked by so many people," she says. Kriti praises her co-star Pawan Kalyan, who made her feel comfortable on the sets of the film. "Initially, I was nervous about how I should behave with him. But, he made me feel comfortable and I realised that I could be myself with him. There were no starry tantrums whatsoever," she says. The actress who has been voted the fourth most sexually desired star in Tollywood is already being linked with many till date, right from Allu Arjun to her Teen Maar director Jayant. But, Kriti rules out the link-up rumors and calls them baseless. "I'm single and sick of being linked-up. During the Filmfare awards I was supposedly seeing Allu Arjun. Thereafter, I was reportedly seeing my Teen Maar director. We are good friends. He has a son of my age. It was sick, but it didn't affect my friendship with him," says the beauty.

Can Telugu Film Industry recover???

With strikes and hartals, both from the workers inside and the forces outside, Telugu Film Industry is halting its work very often these days. Apart from this, somersaulting of Big-budgeted and big heroes movies at the Box Office is also on a rise. Can Telugu Film Industry recover from all these blows, is the question now! All this work halting from insiders is directly related to increasing daily wages and remunerations of the 24 crafts people involved in movie making. However, with no good profits in producers pockets, their expectations are watered always. For this, a decent hit is needed at the Box Office. High profile flicks like 'Parama Veera Chakra' and 'Shakti' tumbled in their initial weeks to create deficit at the starting of 2011. To worsen this bad situation, Pawan Kalyan's 'Teen Maar' is losing collections at B&C centres despite of positive talk. Prabhas' 'Mr.Perfect' also looks dull at some parts and all those ingredients in it are not able to predict a steady performance of it. With no money minting flicks in the scenario, the exhibitors and distributors are getting pushed into worst situations. Looks like Telugu Industry is placing itself into a no-recovery situation with no good flicks. It's time for Telugu directors and writers, to tighten their shoe strings for giving a ray of hope in this dampening situation. Hope at least anyone among '100% Love', 'Nenu Naa Rakhsasi' or 'Badrinath' bails TFI out of the crisis.

Ganesh Babu catching 'leaves' after 'burns'

There is a Telugu proverb 'Chetulu Kaalaaka Aakulu Pattukovadam'. Present situation of 'Teen Maar' exactly fits into this proverb. Producer Ganesh Babu in a hurry to complete shooting of the film with in minimum period of time interfered in direction department on every day basis. Apparently, he was successful in packing up 'Teen Maar' in below 100 days but that is costing him ponderously today. Director Jayant requested Ganesh Babu for re-shooting of some scenes which strictly got a rejected answer. Including with this even the spot dubbing lapses are clearly observed in theatres irritating audience with defective audio output. Insiders are blaming Ganesh Babu as the basic reason for hampering the success range of 'Teen Maar'. Having known this Ganesh Babu is trying to catch leaves after getting his hand already burnt.

Bollywood top director praises 'Teen Maar'

The recent release of 'Teen Maar' is a remake to Hindi hit film 'Love Aaj Kal'. Although many knew this, it’s wonderful to hear that 'Teen Maar' opened to houseful crowds even in Mumbai. Fans are more than satisfied with Pawan Kalyan and opening collections show how best 'Teen Maar' has struck the chord with audience. Imtiaz Ali is the story writer and director of 'Love Aaj Kal' which had Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Apparently, the original film was also a big hit in North India. Interestingly, Imtiaz went on to see 'Teen Maar' in Mumbai on the release day. Director shared his experiences and his Facebook page reads like "Saw Teen Maar, the Telugu remake of Love Aaj Kal in a theatre in Bombay. It was without subtitles but I could make out most of it. It was fun. I could also see that in certain places the director of the movie has taken the concept forward. It all looked very good. I enjoyed it very much." What could director Jayant C Paranjee and Pawan Kalyan ask for more than this warm applause from native Bollywood director?

Flop Hero Nitin gets First-Hit!

The heading might put you in confusion about what this 'first hit' means. After testing the audience with his sick and silly flicks from a long span of time, Nitin is rated as the topper among flop heroes. Though he has blockbusters like 'Jayam' and 'Dil' to his credits, this 'first-hit' is something different. Nitin scored his first-hit as fan of a Star Hero of the Telugu industry. Generally, our heroes and directors never reveal anything about the other heroes or directors they like. They speak very cautiously while addressing such things and if forced, they say the names of actors and directors from other languages. However, Nitin took a big leap in publicly stating that he is a big fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. The flop-hero is said to be flooding the mobiles of his friends with 'blockbuster talk' messages about Pawan's 'Teen Maar'. Nitin went on stating about the star status of Pawan Kalyan in Nizam area through his social networking pages. One should really appreciate Nitin about his open disclosure of such a sensitive thing, being a youth hero in the industry.

Spot Dubbing Spoiled 'Teenmaar'

The much talked about film ‘Teenmaar’ has arrived and so far, it has lived upto its expectations. However, there were few obvious flaws in the making and also in the technical values. Already, the blooper about the hotel room scene in the film has made few rounds and here is another one.

Few scenes in the first half showed Pawan’s voice in a muffled manner and a hollow tone, sources say the reason for that is the attempt to come up with sync sound just like Hollywood movies. However, it is heard that the impromptu thing didn’t work that well and the distortion was clearlyh heard in all the multiplexes.

And one can imagine the situation in the B, C centers. As such, the theatres are not equipped with proper speakers so many audience said they couldn’t hear the dialogues properly. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan spoke fast in those scenes and not many could catch what he was saying. While that may not cause a severe impact, the spot dubbing method definitely didn’t work for the film.

'Teen Maar' Mistake Making Rounds!!

There are times when movie makers tend to ignore few things in scenes and give it the name of cinematic liberties. But then, it must not exceed the logic or it should not be too obvious for the audience to discover. Anyways, something like that seems to have happened in the latest release ‘Teen Maar’.

In one of the scenes, Pawan, Trisha, Ali are drunk and they come into a hotel asking for a room. While it is said that Pawan gets room number 420, he is seen entering Room-103 with his card. How did that happen? And here is another goof up.

Trisha also asks for a room in the same floor and she is seen checking into another room. How can room numbers 420 and 103 be in the same floor? Well, these things may be trivial but at the same time, they cant be obvious. Perhaps attention to detail is something our directors should work on…

'Teen Maar' theatres filled with Jr NTR Fans

Heights of craze have no limits for the fans of any hero and it is quite usual between Mega and Nandamuri fans. More than the hit-awaiting Mega fans, Jr NTR's followers made their presence felt at the theatres of todays release 'Teen Maar'. Is this a positive sign or a crouching act to take revenge on Mega troupe? A positive report was making rounds in Film Circles about Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming flick 'Teen Maar'. These are the days where flick that got positive reports are ending up as duds at the Box Office. Recent example for this is Jr NTR’s 'Shakti' which got hype that it will rewrite the records created by Ram Charan's 'Magadheera'. At this point of time, the overwhelming presence of Jr NTR's fans at 'Teen Maar' theatres is surely an eyebrow raiser. There were some mixed responses from these hardcore fans about their coming to the first shows of Powerstar's latest flick. A crazy fan of Jr NTR, who happens to like Pawan Kalyan stated, "My mind was blocked after watching 'Shakti' and now I want to cool it down with a lovely breeze called 'Teen Maar', before entering into the theatre. Some Nandamuri fans are saying that they want to know the actual fate of 'Teen Maar', such that they want to use its negative points to take revenge on Mega fans celebrating 'Shakti' failure.

Pawan Kalyan is back after his debacle ‘Komaram Puli’ and he has teamed up with his favorite Trivikram Srinivas (with dialogues and screenplay) who is also recovering from his debacle ‘Khaleja’. That helped director Jayante Pranje a lot. Let us see how they have fared in this.

Story:
Set on the backdrop of South Africa, Michael Velayudham (Pawan) is a happy go lucky man who doesn’t believe in love and lifelong commitments. He meets Meera Shastri (Trisha) and both of them hit off and get intimate without any strings attached.

The story takes a turn when Meera decides to go to India to pursue her career of art restoration and they decide to break up. It is here that Michael meets Senapathi (Paresh Rawal) who notices Michael’s affair and recalls the love story of his friend Arjun Palwai (Pawan again) which happens thirty years ago in Varanasi. The girl in his life is Vasumathi (Kriti).

While Michael defies Senapathi’s views on life and love with logic and practical thinking, he begins to feel the emptiness from inside. Meanwhile, Meera’s marriage is fixed with someone else.

What happens after that? Does Michael realize true love? All this forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Pawan Kalyan has given an energetic performance and he scores the brownie points with his timing of dialogues. He looks stylish in the modern role but should have been careful in choice of costumes in flashback episode.

Trisha looks good after putting on some extra pounds of flesh. She is cute as usual and fills the glamour and emotional quotient wherever required.

Kriti Kharbanda looks like a doll but then she should have been more versatile with her expressions. The innocence is there in her eyes but it is not done with conviction. Overall, she did a decent job.

Paresh Rawal was brief, Sonu Sood looks elegant, Donna looks sizzling hot, Ali brought few smiles, Koyalagundla Harish and Arundhati Aravind made their presence felt. Tanikella, MS Narayana, Kasi Viswanath, Mukesh Rishi, Pragathi filled the screen at necessary scenes.

Analysis:
After a long time, Pawan Kalyan was seen in full spirits and seemed to enjoy his role and characterization.

The film comes across with an ideology clash between the current generation and the generation that has gone by when it comes to essence of relationships. While the intention is noble, this may not be a recipe for the mass or commercial audience (B, C centers).

As such, this is a movie which appeals the class and urban (A center) audience. Also, with good technical and production values coupled with few nice songs, the film has a feel good factor and turns out to be a smooth breezy entertainer. Pawan Kalyan fans might get reminded of his ‘Khushi’ days. The film will connect well with those who haven’t watched the original in Hindi (Love Aaj Kal).

Overall, this comes across as a cool treat in the summer heat packed with the right dose of comedy, sentiment, romance and above all, dialogues. At the box office, this has strong chances of scoring success.

Pawan Kalyan has broken the rule this time and performed something out of the box (esp with lip locks). Trisha looked hottest in best way possible with ample thigh shows and deeper necks. She came out with full dose glamour.

The first half suffers little ups and downs while last 30 minutes stood as highlight with gripping. 

Bottomline: Fun filled and sensitive, watch it!!

'Teen Maar': Goes Hit Or Flop?

In less than 24 hours, the most talked about and promising film of the season is about to take the litmus test. We are talking about the film ‘Teen Maar’ which is releasing tomorrow and speculation has been making crazy rounds as the expectations are high and the hype has been more than normal.

For now, the inside talk is very positive and some of the songs have struck a chord with the masses. The fact that Pawan Kalyan has got three heroines in the form of Trisha, Kriti Kharbanda and Tasha is adding to the glamour quotient. The technical finesse of director Jayanth C Paranje is another plus.

However, many films which came with a positive pre-release talk turned out to be duds. Sometimes, it is the makers who create a false hype despite the film being weak. So…we will know only the real picture only when the film releases..

Reel Talk: Trisha's 'Adorable' Co-Star

Trisha is on cloud nine these days. The actress is leaving no stone unturned to promote her new Telugu film ‘Teenmaar’ (remake of Saif-Deepika starrer ‘Love Aaj Kal’), which is all set to hit the screens on April 14.

Gushing about her ‘very different’ (well, that’s what they all say!) role in the film, Trisha says the role she’s essayed will stand out. The time has come for the new film ‘Teen Maar’ to hit the screens on April 14th. As expected, the inside talk has begun to come out and it appears that we might have a super hit on hand. Those who saw the rushes of the film have revealed that the movie has come out superb.

Buzz is that except an episode which runs on the backdrop of Kasi, everything is same just like its original ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Also, it is heard that in the original, Saif Ali Khan plays a regular Sardarji who is a college student in one of his role but in ‘Teen Maar’ Pawan Kalyan is reportedly seen as a hot blooded revolutionary student leader.

Barely it’s a matter of five days left for ‘Teen Maar’ to hit the screens. With Pawan Mania as usual running high in the public, everyone is eager to know when and where advance bookings of the film will be opened? Although there is no transparent information on this but it is known from film friends that Pawan Kalyan with suggestion of Trivikram Srinivas is hurrying up with re-shoot of few comedy patches.

Until this work will be totally packed up, film can’t move for Censor certification and then will Advance Booking shutters widely opened. Till then one must wait as the same sources confirm ‘Teen Maar’ is likely to stand before Censor Board either by today evening or tomorrow morning. Control your nerves; some one might get you the first Censor talk about ‘Teen Maar.’

Top Producer's life in Pawan Kalyan hands

It is a very long period of 10 years that Pawan Kalyan never delivered a super hit like 'Khushi' or 'Tholi Prema'. Although producers lost faith on him with 'Johnny', 'Gudumba Shankar', 'Bangaram', 'Balu' and 'Puli', this is time for power star to regain his lost glory with 'Teen Maar'. Other side, producer Dil Raju anticipating the result of 'Puli' to repeat for 'Teen Maar' declared proudly about his project with Prabhas,'Mr. Perfect' hitting the screens on 21st of this month exactly in a week gap with Pawan Kalyan. Dil Raju is also sailing in the same boat as other loss making producers in recent past with few disasters like 'Josh' and 'Maro Charitra'. This family entertainer 'Mr. Perfect' is considered as a life and death film for him. If Pawan Kalyan fortunately secures a super hit talk for 'Teen Maar', then there is no other way left for Dil Raju, either to postpone his project or bear the brunt. Let us see what happens.

Good & Bad - Teen Maar & Shakti

Ask any of the Nandamuri fans on who should take the total blame of disastrous 'Shakti'. The answer is one and it is Meher Ramesh. This copycat director has brought down image of Jr NTR many steps down with his childish treatment that made producer Ashwini Dutt to get big holes in his pocket. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, Meher Ramesh is the biggest minus and bad man for 'Shakti' that is ready to leave the theatres with in second week. Next star release after 'Shakti' that is to arrive in theatres within few days is 'Teen Maar' from Pawan Kalyan. Apparently expectations are running high while the special tag of Trivikram Srinivas attached to this film is considered biggest positive adding more to the good publicity. As Pawan Kalyan and director Jayant C Paranjee are on the flop run, it is the name and fame of Trivikram Srinivas in preparing good scripts that could optimally help 'Teen Maar' create new records.

Telangana To Ban 'Teen Maar'

As expected, power star Pavan Kalyan-starrer ‘Teen Maar” is going to face troubles in the Telangana region.

The Telangana students joint action committee has threatened to boycott the film in Telangana as the title was an indirect insult to the Telangana culture. According to a JAC leader, “Teen Maar” symbolizes Telangana folk culture, especially that of Dalits. “It is a typical Telangana dappu culture used in folk festivals,” he said.

The JAC leaders burnt the posters of Teen Maar film and announced that they would not allow the film to be released, unless they removed the title. There would be no screening of the film in Telangana theatres,” they said.

Pavan Kalyan’s earlier film Komuram Puli, also landed in a controversy as it was opposed by Adivasis on the pretext that it amounted to insulting legendary tribal hero Komuram Bheem, who was killed fighting with the Nizam forces. Finally, Pavan had to drop the word Komuram from the title on the day of release.
