TV9 Ravi Prakash's Revenge On Film Director

So far, many have seen the monopoly of TV9 but now they are getting a taste of their autocracy as well. The reason for that is the special focus the news channel is putting on director Ramgopal Varma. Apparently, the TV9 folks seem to be in a full revenge mode on this film maker, say viewers of the channel.

This opinion is coming after seeing the latest program titled ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma’ which lasted for nearly 45 minutes. Basically, it showed the supposed downfall of Ramu from ‘Siva’ to ‘KSD Appalaraju’.  Ravi Prakash gave voiceover for the program and few journalists were invited to share their thoughts. As expected, they were busy slamming RGV in their own style.

Sources say the reason for this revenge is the free publicity that Ramu gets through his films or statements. They add that usually TV9 expects kickbacks to talk positively and since RGV is not from that batch, this reaction. With their latest program, they seem to have tested the maximum limit of cynicism towards an individual. Some felt TV9 crossed the line and felt it was almost like raping RGV.

Followers of RGV say the chances are that his forthcoming movie ‘Dongala Mutha’ may hit the groins of the media which is doing the mud slinging on the film director. Usually, a media channel follows a trend - positive or negative and right now, RGV seems to be in the negative books of TV9. However, history has shown that positive or negative attacks have only resulted in benefits for Ramu and the general opinion is that he is the only one who is capable of such a mileage.
