Udhayanidhi Stalin clinches ‘Magadheera’


Telugu film industry’s most acclaimed film of the decade ‘Magadheera’ has been on its way to Kollywood for a very long period of time. There were more competitions amongst the producers to acquire the remake rights. Later it was heard that the film’s producer Allu Aravind is planning to dub in Tamil reshooting for some sequences so as to suit the tastes of Tamil Nadu audiences.

The Tamil version has been titled as ‘Maaveeran’ and will mark the debut of Cheeranjivi’s son Ram Charan Teja in Kollywood while Kajal Agarwal stars opposite him in female lead role. Sri Hari, Dev Gill of ‘Sura’ fame are playing important roles in this big-budget flick.
Chiranjeevi makes a cameo in the title song featuring his son Ram Charan Teja and Mumaith Khan that was shot along with 500 dancers at Chennai harbor. K. Bhagyaraj has written dialogues for the Tamil version while Vaali and Jayaram have penned lyrics for the songs composed by M.M Keeravani.
S.S. Rajamouli has penned screenplay and directed this film that revolves around the concept of reincarnation.
Udhayanidhi Stalin is planning to promote the film to a bigger scale and release it by end of May.
