Support Growing For Jr NTR In TDP Ranks

It looks like the support for Junior NTR is swelling in the Telugu Desam Party.
On Sunday, senior TDP leader from Krishna district and former agriculture minister Vadde Sobhanadreeshwara Rao came in support of Jr NTR’s leadership in the party.
“It is not appropriate to expect that only one person should lead the party forever. There should be a change in the leadership in tune with the aspirations of the people and party workers. I personally feel it would be excellent if Jr NTR takes over the party reins. He is young, dynamic and good speaker. He can take the party forward,” Vadde told the media.
The former minister admitted that there were serious differences in the party in general and Krishna district in particular.
The party president has not encouraged the second rung leadership in the party, which was responsible for the present crisis, he said.
“There is a huge difference between the personalities of N T Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu. NTR always kept the big industrialists and business bigwigs at bay and gave top priority to the poor people. It was completely reverse in the case of Chandrababu and that is why he got alienated from the people,” he explained
