One of the key men of MAA TV has quit his position. He belongs to Chiru camp. His name is Sarat Marar and he happens to be the CEO for the MAA channel till a few days back.
While this move has come suddenly, sources say there is a big reason behind this. It is heard that Sarat took initiative and sold the satellite rights of the film ‘Orange’ at a higher price. This has not gone well with other key people in the top management of the channel who reportedly rebuked Sarat as to why he had to value it to the level of ‘Magadheera’ and sell it.
A staff member revealed that Sarat was asked to give an explanation on this and it hurt him badly. That’s why he submitted his resignation. While it is not sure how much truth is there in it, one thing looks clear that ‘Orange’ became responsible for a blow to a channel’s CEO.
